11-29-03, 02:35 PM There hasn't been a contest in a while, so I thought, what the hell why not. This time, the theme is symbionts.

You may enter as many monsters you like.
You can use templates on other symbionts or monsters to make a new monster, but the creatures flavor and background must be different. You cant just make a half-black dragon axiomatic mind leech and say thats what it is.
You must post your creations elsewhere and provide me with a link. You can however use the same post to host more than 1 symbiont (no pun intended) ;).
The contest will end whenever things start to slow down.

Well, the Ithkul is a symbiant with a parasitic bent that I converted from MOO3.
I'll enter my Gynikith if I can get the ego score worked out, which I kinda doubt since I don't have fiend folio.
I like the concepts guys youre entered. But I like an Ego score. To figure out their Ego score add togethor the bonuses (or penalties) of the Symbionts Int, Wis and Cha scores. For example, if a Symbiont had the following...

Int 14, Wis 16, Cha 15 it would be 7; because the bonuses are +2, +3 and +2. Also add a +1 for some of its more powerful abilitys such as spells, psionics, monster abilities, etc.

Hope that helps... :D

12-01-03, 08:29 PM Hmmm... Can you have a negative Ego score? An unbonded Ithkul has an Ego of -7 (-3 Int, -3 Wis, -3 Cha, +1 attatch, +1 grappler).

No, this is a different kind of symbiote, and they are detailed in the Fiend Folio.
