Exooki 06-11-06, 05:16 PM	hello i hqave a class that transcends to become an evil outsider at level 20. they work with neocarnum and negatice energy and i was wondering what creature might be a good choice. The cretaure need not be actually playable as they dont have to transcend into that creature merely gain some aspects. any ideas would be helpful. the creatures alignm,ent should be neutral evil(required for the class) and should not be larger than large size or smaller than medium although i can overcome this all ideas would be helpful thank you in advance also is it overpowered to do this in a base class i know many prestige classes have you change to outsider and become a different cretaure is it alright for a base class? thank you again
Khael 06-11-06, 05:28 PM	You don't have to become a specific outsider. The monk class like many PrCs gives the outsider type at the end of its non-epic progression. Outsider type does not equal becoming a demon or devil. It gives the effects of the outsider type given in the MM. Alteratively if I've got the wrong idea, the PrC acolye of the skin from Complete Arcane uses the skin of an evil outsider to give the character bonus based on the skin used, and ends with the outsider type, so this could be what you want.
