The root of the question is, if a player race got NOTHING BUT what it was given by its creature type, what would the level adjustment be for each creature type? |
| runestar02-26-07, 09:20 AM | Undead, construct, elemental and plant come to mind, due to their many resistances/immunities independent of HD. :) I think probably high LA+1 or low LA+2 for them... Elemental subtype might be worth something as well, assuming you can find a way of working around the shortcomings. For example, a barb with the fire subtype can take that feat which grants him the cold subtype while raging, effectively becoming immune to both fire and cold(and nullifying both their drawbacks). Not enough for a full LA+1 though... I am not sure if you counted the various outsider subtypes(angel, archon etc), but they sure come with a buttload of special abilities...probably LA+2/3 at least... |
