An unpleasantly tinted mucous-like substance continuously leaks from these clefts. Its trunk is very much overly long, and tends to coil on the ground when not raised into the air like a thick grey tentacle. With each exhalation something partially emerges from the trunk but then whisks back within. The several sharp tusks that grow from each side of its mouth twitch and bend slightly like hardened cilia and are covered in barb-like ridges. The huge ears grow from farther down its head with the membranous skin stretched along long, slim bones like a bat, giving the impression that these are not ears by atrophied wings of some sort. Combat: Pseudonatural elephants possess a minimal sentience, just enough to make them truley dangerous but retain their natural predatory instincts, if the urges of a creature as this can be called such. They tend to await others to approach and charge them, preferably on a downhill slant, trampling and impaling with its twitching tusks. Alternate Form (Su): As a standard action, a pseudonatural elephant can take the form of a grotesque, tentacled mass (though this alien appearance has no effect on the creature's abilities). Other creatures recieve a -1 morale penalty on their attack rolls against the creature when it is in this alternate form. Trample (Ex): Reflex half DC 25. The save DC is Strength-based. True Strike (Su): Once per day, a pseudonatural elephant can gain a +20 insight bonus on a single attack roll. In addition, the creature suffers no miss chance against a target that has concealment or total concealment when making this attack. |
