| Xeitz10-16-05, 10:58 PM | How many small humanoids are allowed on a large flying creature and it can still fly? (Assuming the small creatures are still a light load) I mean for the small creatures to ride it and be able to fight still. |
| savant_warlord1311-02-05, 06:36 PM | as many as is a light load for the flyer riders must succeed on ride checks to fight, but if they were overcrowded the DM might give them a penalty on the check |
| JiCi11-02-05, 07:24 PM | 4, 4 halflings/gnomes can mount a dire bat, giant bat or owl. In Arms and Equipment, it is written that 4 humans can ride an elephant and 4 dwarves can ride a triceratops. So here's the math: A mount can carry 1 rider one size smaller than itself. (1 human on an horse) A mount can carry 4 riders two sizes smaller than itself. (4 humans on an elephant) A mount can carry 16 riders three sizes smaller than itself. (16 humans on a tushed behemoth from Heroes of Battle) etc... etc... etc... Hope this helps. |
| Raelifin11-02-05, 08:27 PM | Hunh? Didn't you just say that elephants can carry 4 humans? And aren't elephants huge size? I think you mean: A horse can carry 1 human or four halflings. An elephant can carry 4 humans or 16 halflings. A dire elephant can carry 16 humans or 64 halflings. The Tarrasque could carry 64 humans or 256 halflings. By this logic a Colossal dog could carry 16384 fleas. |
