The Cyberdemon is a gruesome mixture of both demonic and cybernetic parts, towering over everything. Its legs end in hooves, and its head supports massive horns. The lower part of its right arm is a massive rocket launcher. Loud thuds caused by its walking make the earth tremble.

COMBAT

The Cyberdemon is a massive demon that uses its rockets and slams to beat opponents into a pulp. At the start of any encounter, it uses its quake stomp ability, usually after taking a 5 ft step.

Rumbling Step: Whenever a cyberdemon moves 5 feet, all creatures withing 100 ft must make a DC 48 Balance check or fall prone. The save DC is strength based. This does not effect flying creatures.

Quaking Stomp: As a full round action, a cyberdemon can stomp mightily on the ground with one hoof, causing an earthquake that effects all within 200 ft. that lasts one round, except the save DC for anything but falling into a fissure is 48. The save DC is strength based.

Squish: Against a creature that is on the ground, and within 5 ft, a cyberdemon can stomp on it as a full round action. If that creature fails a reflex save with DC 43, it takes 40d6 + 30 damage. The save DC is contitution based.

Rocket: A cyberdemon can fire a rocket from its launcher every round and deal 20d6 damage with 20 ft radius in extra damage (see rocket rules).

See if you can spot the 2 ways it can kill instantly.

Why the hell would a Cyberdemon have Diplomacy + 58? In fact, why would it have diplomacy at all? All it does it walk around and kill things.

Also, it isn't anywhere near Colossal size. It's maybe about 12 feet tall, so it's probably Large. Colossal is for things that are 40+ feet tall

That, is where you'd be wrong. You obviously have never played doom 3, and only the origional dooms.

The cyberdemon in doom 3 is at least collossal. Theres even a cutscene with you, the player, walking under and through its legs to the other side and saying "F-UCK!" . Easily as tall as a collossal red dragon.

You can kill it with rockets, so why immunity to fire?

Phaedros (http://projectdf.phpbbnow.com/viewtopic.php?p=13725#13725) did a more reasonable version over here.

If Huge size is good enough for King Kong, it's good enough for Cyberdemon.

No, it isnt good enough for the cyberdemon. The cyberdemon is bigger than king kong.

I thought rockets did unnamed damage?

I'm not going to derail your thread with an argument about it, but are there any youtube videos that I could check out to see this Colossal Cyberdemon you're touting?

As for unnamed damage, we figured not. Things can be immune to rockets (like Superman, for instance) so it figures that there should be some way to resist the effects. Making them bludgeoning and fire allows DR and fire resistance to soak them up, while still making them lethal to any regular adventurer who is tangling with them. Like the guys running through Doom.

That seems Huge to me, not Colossal.

I don't think a Colossal sized monster would even fit in that chamber

Definitely. The human is bigger than the creature's head. It looks as big as a small house, so 30 ft high is seriously plenty.

Huge 16-31 ft
Gargantuan 32-63 ft.
Colossal - 64-127 ft.

If you are standing next to a 16 foot tall giant, you come up to their mid-thigh. If you are standing next to a 30 foot tall giant, you can barely reach their knee with your hands up. Their mid thigh would be roughly 10 feet off the ground.
