According to my Gregorian Alchemy calendar today, February 4, is a day of Tiamat.

In Enuma Elish, the Babylonian story of creation, Tiamat was the wyrm and Mother of the gods who lived in the primordial chaos that existed before the world was created. She represented the sea and accompanied Apsu, the fresh water god. Apsu was killed by the young god Enki and so Tiamat wanted revenge by destroying all the gods. She summoned an army which included eleven dragons, but Marduk killed Tiamat and turned her into the universe.

Just thought I'd share.

In another fun filled fact, Bahamut is actually a Fish god in the same region. He oddly was later remade into the figure of Behemoth and is mentioned in the Book of Revelations as a Demon.

I wonder if it means Bahamut will fall to evil

or if Baphomut is just playing his Orc Trickery again

Cool, I never knew that. It's a shame when dragons die though. *sniff sniff*........Wait! Just inmagine that Tiamat was the D&D Tiamat. Imagine all the treasure you could loot! From what I remember she had about a 100 worlds worth of treasure. Or something like that.

So THAT'S where that bad guy in Sailor Moon: Another Story got her name. I did wonder about that.

From SquareEnix who claims they own Him :-)

BAHAMUT

Bahamut originates from Muslim Traditions, and his form is very different then depicted in modern society. The great dragon is actually a giant fish. It floats in a vast sea while a bull rides on its back. On top of the bull lies a ruby mountain that contains 6 hells, seven heavens and the earth. Being such a monstrous beast, it is said that not even humans can look upon him.
