Can someone point me if the classic Death Knight monster had been adapted to 3,X, and where? I heard it was now a template...

On a directly related thread, since I want to make with it a Lord Soth-like bbeg, any suggestions what to use as an accursed retenue(spelling?)? I though of skeletal warriors like Soth, perhaps ghosts or something....

The Death Knight template can be found in the MM2. Make sure to get the 3.5 update booklet available for download on the d&d site.

You can also find the Death Knight of Krynn in the Dragonlance Campaign Setting. They are very similar but the Krynnish version gets the use of the Power Words.

Dragonlance Campaign Setting. The MM2 Version doesn't have the same flavor as Soth does, and he was the original, no?

Quick check - was the fighter skeleton (as Soth had as retenue, I think, along Banshees) of AD&D2 recreated in 3,X?

I am pretty sure the Banshee was printed somewhere but I can't remember where. I don't know about the Skeletal Warriors. It would be fairly easy to make skeletons with PC or NPC levels, or just use higher HD versions to simulate his retinue.

They've got the Skeletal Warriors that work with Soth in the Dragonlance Campaign Setting, too.

Banshee was done in the MM2
