| Captain Longsword09-01-03, 12:49 PM | Ho, Iwas just wondering what is the the most ridiculous thing that a monster has done in your experience or the most painful thing a monster has done to you? Many Thanks, Captain Longsword |
| Nerfix09-01-03, 12:55 PM | Not sure if correct board but... One of my players learned that it's not so good idea to annoy Very Old Brass Dragon while being stuck in quicksand... However, the player was a lich, and his phylactery wasn't destroyed, so he was reborn within few days... The most painfull things must have been various acid attacks... I know that acid can hurt a lot.:( |
| Captain Longsword09-01-03, 12:58 PM | Ho, Thanks for the info, i'll avoid large dragons, quicksand and acids at all costs! Many Thanks, Captain Longsword :fight!: |

Many Thanks, Captain Longsword :fight!: Oh, you don't have to avoid those... :smirk: My players met their first Dragon, a Very Old Red Dragon at level 5... They seemed to be quite relieved that the Dragon didn't fry them. |
| Captain Longsword09-01-03, 01:18 PM | Ho, I'm not suprised. You are rather evil aren't you. Many Thanks Captain Longsword :fight!: |

| DAoC man09-01-03, 01:25 PM | My 16th level weapon master whirlwinded five jharlniths or something like that...cr5 demons from mm2, they have an aura that does all damaged they take to everyone within 30 feet. I took about 300 damage. Boom. |
| ieattrollsforbreakfast09-01-03, 01:25 PM | It wasn't to me, I was DM, but it was funny and painful! My party were up against a teratomorph. As those of you with experience with these oozes know, they are utter chaos. By the end of the encounter, the fighter was polymorphed into a white dragon (lucky roll), the cleric was a gelatinous cube and the arcane archer was absorbed. Harsh. |
| Nerfix09-01-03, 01:44 PM | Originally posted by Captain Longsword Ho, LOL! ...i could be evil because i think i have caused mental breakdown to my players with all kinds of wierd stuff like Gelatinous Black Dragons, Half-Salamanders and "slightly" modified Gold Dragons... Listening to Maktone and Uriah Heep can make you wierd... |
| Mordenkainen's Rubber Duck of DOOM09-01-03, 02:05 PM | I don't understand the purpose of the "Ho," part. Is it a secret code? |

| Shifting Master09-01-03, 03:04 PM | One time my players crossed paths with an ettin and his griffin mount. The players convinced the ettin to kill the griffin, informing him that they would give him a dragon to ride on if he did. Then the rogue sneak-attacked the ettin with a crossbow, and the rest of the party told the ettin that there were 'goblin archers! In the shadows!' I think you might be talking about zovvuts, DAoC Man. Jariliths look like lions. |
| ieattrollsforbreakfast09-01-03, 03:50 PM | Its not Zuvvuts either, its Jovocs with the Aura of Retribution :) |
| Captain Longsword09-02-03, 03:12 AM | Ho, Thanks for all your posts, anyone else out there got any? Many Thanks, Captain Longsword :fight!: |
