Deep Spawn Question [Archive] - Wizards Community

Could it have dozens of spawn off of one troll, for example, or is it one copy (spawn) per snack?

06-09-04, 02:22 AM I don't recall there being any limit in MoF on the number of copies of any given creature the deep spawn has eaten. I'd be careful not to throw too many of a given enemy in for the players to handle, but aside from that, I could see a "Clone Wars" type of set up.

A Deep Spawn can spawn a copy of any creature it has ever eaten. I don't think it is limited to the number of copies it can make of that creature except by the amount of available food. Think of it as similar to adding spells to a spellbook. Once it has eaten a creature that creature is ever after in its repetoire of creatures that it can spawn.
