Demilich LA? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-31-05, 02:47 PM I'd just use the +12 if you use the same modification as the Lichs (+2 CR/+4 LA) so a +6 CR would probably work as a +12 LA

+1: Trap the Soul
+1: Spell-like Abilities
+2: Magic Immunity
+1: acid, fire, & sonic resistance

Total LA = +9

Those are really the only abilities above & beyond those of a lich besides it "perfect automatic still spell", which, IMO, doesn't deserve any type of LA increase, but you could give it another +1 if you think it needs it.

12-31-05, 09:44 PM Most of the time we use a +8, combined with the Lich La of +4, for a total of +12. It's part of the epic faq(non official). Also..you might wanna try looking for the lich templates on dice freaks. There are several levels of lichdom from lich to archlich.
