| Uratoh08-29-06, 01:21 PM | For an upcoming eberron game, my PCs will be squaring off with Dagon and Hydra from cthuloid lore...the party's mainly 13th level, and there's 5-6 of them (expecting attendance of 5 is average). Problem is, none of the existing stat variations 'fit' what I need exactly...There's only a few things I'm certain on of what I need: Aberration or Outsider (Augmented Aberration) Gargantuan/Colossal Divine Rank 0 (Quasi Diety) Wield magical trident (perhaps with 'stab the water tidal wave' power) Enough special/spell like abilities to make them flexable, but nothing arggy and complicated Something to represent the 'madness' thing |
| Return of the Flumph08-29-06, 01:36 PM | I'm assuming you are using either Skum or Kuo-Toa stats for ordinary Deep Ones. If so, take the above and do the following: Make it Huge (with the appropriate stat modifications), give it natural weapons proportianate to its size. Boost its natural armor and ability scores to demigod proportions. Give it twenty extra hit dice. Have them cast spells as mid level sorcerers or clerics. Spell Resistance (23 or so) and Damage Reduction (maybe 20/+2). If you look at them, make a will save or go nuts. There. Dagon and Hydra. |

| Uratoh08-29-06, 01:45 PM | but you just said...@_@ Also, their quasi-diety traits gives them DR 10/epic and SR 32. |
| Insane Pixie08-29-06, 10:36 PM | but you just said...@_@ Also, their quasi-diety traits gives them DR 10/epic and SR 32. I'm sorry, but how is this balanced against an ECL13-15 party? They won't make it through even one round unless your party consists of Pun-Pun and Friends. |
| Tower_of_Pain08-30-06, 12:17 AM | Dagon has stats in Fiendish Codex: 1, if you want to look it up. Not that I would tell anyone to buy anything... |
| tryco08-30-06, 12:49 PM | that dagon isn't the one from the cthulhu mythos. there in "call of cthulhu D20". and there CR 14. |
