Determining Monster ages [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-29-04, 02:56 AM Several time I've come across a critter in the core books that for one reason or another I need to know how long it lives. I was just wondering what methods people had worked out to get a young, middle, old, maximum age for the things that don't correspond to real world cretaures e.g. a ether scarab.

Make up something. If you're the DM, you can say they live as long as you want them to.
