I'm just wondering if our sly little renard has ever been statted, in regular or dire form. It seems most animals that walk this earth have found their way into one of the many splatbooks. Have (dire) foxes? If so, which book(s)?

There is an arctic fox in Frostburn, which all you have to do to make it a normal fox is say it gets a bonus to hide checks in forested locales instead of snowy ones.

Theres no dire one though that I know of, though might as well just use a dire wolf or some such. I mean, wolves are cool for being quick, cunning, and agile, not brutes with drippy fangs.

Just increase all the stats for a regular fox. That is how they do all the dire bonuses.

there is a Dire Fox the Dragon Magazine that's all about Gnomes.
