| moosekickedmysisterstoof11-03-04, 12:09 AM | I got bored and decided to revive this old beast. Advancement: 13–18 HD (Colossal) Level Adjustment: — Towering above you is a beast with an extraordinarily long neck that ends in a bony horned head. Its heavy body is held upright by four tree-like legs, fully equipped with hooves the size of small carts. Dire giraffes are massive herbivores that often stand taller than the trees they feed on. An average dire giraffe stands a titanic 80 feet tall and weighs in at roughly 90 tons. Combat: Dire giraffes usually ignore most living things smaller than themselves, and such creatures are more likely to accidentally get stepped on, rather than actually come under attack. However, if it feels threatened or if its young is endangered, a dire giraffe will stomp and kick its opponent until it is little more than a bloody smear on the ground. Against larger foes, dire giraffes use their long necks to perform a powerful whip-lash headbutt. |
