| jadehawk04-22-07, 06:11 PM | Has the Dire horse been printed somewhere or are there guidelines on creating dire animals? |
| Dead_Weasel04-22-07, 06:20 PM | MM2 and Masters of the Wild each have a Dire Horse; there aren't any official guidelines to creating a Dire animal that I'm aware of but there will be a number of ideas available on the boards; look (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Aboards1.wizards.com+dire) around and see if something meets your fancy. |
| jadehawk04-22-07, 06:21 PM | thanks...nothing 3.5 though? I imagine there wouldn't be much of anything to change anyway |
| Dead_Weasel04-22-07, 06:22 PM | I doubt that Dire animals saw a whole lot of revision in 3.5, but I suppose it couldn't hurt to check the errata. |
| Perseus_Stoned04-22-07, 06:24 PM | thanks...nothing 3.5 though? I imagine there wouldn't be much of anything to change anyway MMII isn't 3.5? |
| Dead_Weasel04-22-07, 06:28 PM | Nope, MM2 is 3.0 all the way. |
| Perseus_Stoned04-22-07, 06:38 PM | Nope, MM2 is 3.0 all the way. Dang, thanks (I'm out of date with the revisions). Anyways, as Dead_Weasel already said, the one in the MMII should be fine, there weren't really any big changes done on it. |
| DebiHuman04-22-07, 09:11 PM | Tome of Horrors by Necromancer Games has a Template for Dire Animals and it is also available as a free pdf -- not sure exactly where but googling it should work. Debby |
| Raukolinae04-23-07, 12:47 AM | MMII also has a supplement I believe for updating to 3.5. Should be downloadable off wizards. |
| RLRapp04-23-07, 03:07 AM | If you really want something nasty take the Dire Horse and and add the Horrid template from the Eberron caimpaign setting book. |
| jadehawk04-23-07, 01:06 PM | Thanks guys for pointing me in the right direction. |
