12-07-05, 08:39 PM Hmmm... IIRC, jellyfishes, described in Stormwrack, are vermins. So, for a meaner version, "giant" is a more appropriate term instead of "dire".

12-08-05, 01:12 PM Wow, Giant 6' across 500lb jellyfish with poison tentacles... I'd hate to see "a smack" of those coming after me...i'd REALY like to see some going after my players however! Wait, I can see it all now! A mad, ocean going druid with a jelly-fish preeocupation sending them to sack a costal town (a costal town that the characters happen to be visiting). Wait! things get really nasty when they start walking out of the water on thier poisonous tentacles and start raining volleys of poisonous nemocysts down on the happless populace! I love it!

12-08-05, 03:55 PM That's mostly because jellyfish are like 98% water, once you take them out of water, they dye. I'm assuming the fishermen used those to get them out.

12-08-05, 04:41 PM What PC is goign to lift a 500 pound mass out of the water while it is stinging them multiple times over. Plus, they have to know that that will kill it, otherwise why wouldn't they fight it in the conventional way?
