None, dire animals are just super-advanced versions of normal animals... :)

A Dire template was also released in the MM II I believe. It's 3.0 though, so be careful.

It might eat you if you don't watch it carefuly. I got a nasty bite from my 3.5 PHB, but they toned 'em down for 3.5. Those 3.0 books are killer, with big, nasty, pointy teeth!

Theres nothing in MM2, I think runestar is right it doesnt exist

Thats not from official WoTC sources. Its good and I thank you, but its not from MM 2 or anything else published by WoTC.

Yeah, the PHB is one devilish tome. And don't get me started on the BoVD. It gave me this. *holds up arm missing a hand* And accidentally buying the 3.0 Psionics Handbook instead of the 3.5 almost killed me. Still paying off the hospital fees for surgery.
