Discovery Channel Dinosaur Series [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-29-03, 10:45 PM Did anyone watch the recent "Dinosaur Planet" series on Discovery? One of the episodes (Pod's Journey I believe) featured a predator that looked like a T-Rex and was called a Tarrasquesaur. Just wondering if my ears were playing tricks on me or if anyone else heard it too.

When I head the name in the series it made me do a double take.

The real Tarasque was a French dragon that was tamed by Saint Martha.
This version is abbreviated though. Full length story has Saint Martha actually converting the dragoness to Christianity, and she led it back to town on a leash to show that it was now docile, but the frightened populas killed it anyway.
