| sooperspook12-30-05, 09:22 PM | A golem is immune to all magic that can be stopped with SR. Dispel is not affected by SR. could you then dispel a golem? what would happen if you did? I'm guessing that even if you could it would only be supressed for a bit. would it still be animate? would it lose its special abilities? any guesses welcome. yes , I'm bored. :D |
| primemover00312-30-05, 09:28 PM | Golems are not Magic Items, they are creatures. You couldn't dispel a Golem anymore than you could dispel a Dire Bear. Neither Dispel, Greater, Anti-Magic Field, nor Mage's Disjunction work on a Golem. |

| primemover00312-30-05, 09:32 PM | I'm almost positive Golems worked the same in 2.0 as well... |

Anti-magic fields will supress the (Su) abilities of all creatures, however, including golems, but otherwise a golem functions normally in these as well. And yes, it worked that way in 2e too. |
