St. Maelstrom 12-09-05, 12:19 AM	Can anyone give me a suggestion or two about who/what might ally with, obey, or be served by a displacer beast (or rather a mated pair of displacer beasts)? My player characters are a little tough for these two to be a real challenge, but I have some drama building around these two lurking beasties. So, I need to "beef up" the encounter by a few CRs, to make the drama worthwhile. I was thinking maybe an ogre or giant, but that might be mundane. I'd rather a swarm of goblins or something. Whatever the case it is the displacer beasts that are causing the carnage and terror amoungst the villiagers (not the ally), however when the PCs go to fight of the displacers their allies should come to their aid. ideas?

Rake 12-09-05, 01:28 AM	Yep, use advanced displacer beasts. I believe the DMG lists the stats for a huge-sized 'packlord' DB.
