Displacer Beast pack Lord in MM 3.5, too many hps? [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-28-04, 09:07 AM Going over the MM for monsters, it struck me the Displacer Beast Pack Lord seems to have WAY too many bonus hps
HD: 18d10+192 (203hp)
it has Toughness and a Con of 20, so that should be +93 hp, so where does the +192 come from: error, or for balance/challenge?

02-28-04, 09:20 AM I just went over the maths, and it looks like a misprint.
It should have 18d10 + 93, which gives 192hp average. So probably a little mix up there.
