Well, the question's right there. Do they? I tried to find the info in Monster Manual and Savage Species, but wasn't successful.

One of the players in my campaign plays one, and we'd surely appreciate some opinions on the matter. Thanks a lot.

I dont know if its official or not, but in my campaigns outsiders are immortal. They are created fully grown and remain in that form until slain.

I have it so only certain outsiders age...Angels, Archons, Demons, Gevils, Guardinals, Couatls, Eledrin, Genies, Lillends, Mephits, Titans, Vargouille...naw...

But most others, Aasimar, Tieflings, Half-Celestial, Half-Fiends, Celestial, Fiends, Azers, Arrowhawks, Achaierai, Barghests, Formians, Hellhounds, Howler, Night Hags, Nightmares, Rakshasa, Rast, Ravid, Shadow Mastiff, Slaad, Tojanida, Tritons, Xill, Xorn, Yeth Hounds...ya

Nothing in the three core books says anything about celestials or fiends aging. However, when you think about it they are the physical embodyment of a soul, and given life directly by the will of a deity. I doubt, unless a deity wished it, that an outsider would age.

Since never.

Only Aasimon/Angels are created directly by the will of a deity (though Gehreleths/Demodands are similarly created by their deity Apomps).

Guardinals can be born though they, and all other exemplars, are immortal in the sense of having no max lifespan.

Archons are created from petitioners directly so they don't breed in that sense.

Eladrin I don't recall.

Yugoloths can and do breed, though Mezzoloths are generally created de novo from the essence of the Waste or Gehenna and then advance up the heirarchy from there (only a minority of Yugoloths are born into their station, and then all lesser Yugoloths can only give birth to mezzoloths. Of the greater 'loths Nycaloths and Arcanaloths breed true, and Ultroloths can give birth to Arcanaloths by parthanogenesis (self impregnation of a sort))

Baatezu don't breed amongst themselves. Females are sterile, males aren't. The noble Baatezu aren't bound by these laws however...

Tanar'ri are the single most randy little misfits on the planes and they can and do mate with just about anything you can think of.

Modrons = no breeding

Slaadi = complicated life cycle I don't care to fully explain here

Okay, thanks for your info and opinions.

We discussed the matter with the player yesterday and decided that his character will not age and, if not killed violently, will live forever. Hope he doesn't get bored :angel:
