05-08-05, 10:04 AM I was recently browsing the MM 3.5 and came up with an odd idea. Could a Doppelganger become a lich but keep its shapechanging ability? In the MM it says that a lich retains all special qualities it had before it became a lich. So if it means what i think it does, the doppelganger-lich could shapechange, thus granting the lich remarkable skill.

05-08-05, 10:18 AM Yes. If it had a 11th level caster level. So a Doppelganger Wizard 11 could, in fact, become a Lich.
