| Tekas_Tinkered_Dragon07-07-04, 06:53 PM | A friend and I have been argueing about Draconians. Myself I believe that since a Draconian is spawned from corrupted dragon eggs they should have the Dragon Subtype, but my friend flatly states that since the races don't state having a Dragon Subtype they don't. Any help here? |
| strenoth07-07-04, 08:09 PM | I'm assuming you mean Dragon Lance draconians. They'd have Dragon as a Type, not a sub-type, but otherwise, I agree, they'd be considered dragons in the same way that Half-dragons are. |
| strenoth07-07-04, 08:11 PM | as a side note: later books showed a blue dragon creating strange half-dragon draconians by infusing his own blood with the life energy of a normal draconian into a human. |
| RavinRay07-08-04, 09:06 AM | If you go to www.dragonlance.com and look for the Bestiary of Krynn Web Preview, you'll find a venom draconian, which is a transformed black dragon. Yes, there are now noble draconians transformed from the eggs of the chromatic dragons, and they are predisposed to good! Now, if I recall correctly, in 3E articles on WotC they were Monstrous Humanoids, but in 3.5E they were Dragons. Oh, and those draconic monsters strenoth mentioned, their proper name is dragonspawn, or spawn for short. |
| Apocalyp$e07-10-04, 01:51 PM | There are also dragon spawn, which is what strenoth described seeing. |
| Amaron Blackthorn07-13-04, 12:59 PM | Does the DLCS have any information on it? |
| Khaibit_Ema_Neteru07-13-04, 02:19 PM | On dragonspawn? Yes. They're listed right after draconians in the monster section. |
| Amaron Blackthorn07-15-04, 12:44 PM | no, are the draconians considered dragons? what about the dragonspawn? |
| Khaibit_Ema_Neteru07-15-04, 01:14 PM | Yes, and yes. |
| Amaron Blackthorn07-15-04, 01:26 PM | Tanti grazie per gli informazione. |
| Khaibit_Ema_Neteru07-15-04, 10:30 PM | De Rien. (yes, I know that's french. But I don't know italian.) |
