RayOMan 06-14-06, 10:32 PM	Is there errata out for the Draconomican book? I can't find any errata on WotC's website. I find it hard to believe that the Draconomican is a perfect book. I glanced through it for the first time today and found that there seems to be some charts missing for the Landwyrm. There are example landwyrms of different types and of different ages but the charts that show what abilities are gained for different age groups seems to be missing. Now, I could of overlooked it so when I begin to read it in depth I hope to find it, however, I believe there is something missing. Thanks, RayOMan

runestar 06-14-06, 10:44 PM	Only errata I can think off is the clarification in the FAQ about how the dragon prcs add their bab/saves on top of those accrued by the racial HD, even if those class lvs would otherwise trigger epic bab/saves progression. Evidently, this is meant as a special exception to the epic rules to ensure that dragons retain much of their "bite" when multiclassing. :cool:

Kothardarastrix 06-16-06, 04:36 AM	Landwyrms aren't 'True Dragons' thus they don't have age categories. Nor, do they deserve to be categorized in the same category.
Wolf72 06-16-06, 04:58 PM	you could always make your own age categories ... the landwyrms work out okay like that using 1 (Plains, underdark), 2 (tundra, hill), 3 (mountain, jungle, desert) intervals. The forest landwyrm is the difficult one ... I split it into age categories that go like this Tiny-Wyrmling 1d12 Small-Very Young 3d12 Small-Young 4d12 Small-Juvenile 5d12 Small-Young Adult 6d12 Medium-Adult 8d12 Med-Mature Adult 9d12 Medium-Old 10d12 Medium-Very Old 11d12 Large-Ancient 14d12 Large-Wyrm 15d12 Large-Great Wyrm 16d12 abilities didn't really change much ... str, dex, con are all sized based (MM/SRD size change chart). Int doesn't change (messes w/ skill points), wis and cha may change a point or two depending on age category (they always reach the avg score shown in the Draconomicon). I also went thru and broke down the skills (and found quite a few errors for the landwyrms) feats BAB, ... etc. I did the same for wyverns, dragon turtles and some other dragon creatures. I like the idea of age categories ... especially if you want a mountain landwyrm encounter with a wyrmling or juvenile ... they should have given them tail slap attacks as well ...
