GAH!
Where is the errata for the Draconomicon?
Can the metabreath feats really be used more than once per use of a breath weapon?

I think that was all- I have a DM that knows me as the oracle of the group, and was really wondering about these newly risen questions.

The metabreaths just seem to be breakable if allowed to do a Max Cling Cling Cling Breath....which if one of the players was thinking of doing.... Talon of Tiamat and all-

I just worry about meeting the dragon that ken creates to just fly around us and blast us every minute or so with uberbreaths.

Oh, we are currently level 4, but I would like any possibly info quickly. Thankyou.

you mean more than one metabreath feat on the weapon?

Like a Maximized Clinging cone of cold?

yes, each feat stacks to determine the number of rounds you have to wait between using the breath weapon too. More feats applied = more rounds of breathlessness.

IIRC, there's something mentioned about not being able to apply the same metamagic feat to a spell more than once, unless you take the feat more than once. It may have only been a suggestion or house rule, but it makes sense. If you follow that logic, then no, you wouldn't be able to apply the same metabreath feat more than once. It'll just save you some headaches that way.

General Ridely- I was talking about applying the same feat over and over and over again to a single instance of breath.

Like a Maxed Clinging times X breath. It will last for X rounds and continue to deal the dmg, and it wouldnt really matter how long it takes if that one breath clings to everyone.

It just makes it an odd non-parallel for one set of Meta feats to be applyable over and over and over again while the others can only have one instance of any given meta feat.

Unless specifically noted, no metabreath feats stack with itself.

If you have a spell caster in your group, wall of wind kicks the stuffing out of most dragon breath weapons.

As well as poison gas, fogs, arrows and anything else that is light and coming toward you.

It's one the greatest level 3 defense spells ever! In theory it would even negate spells like burning hands and the like. But that's up to your DM.
