06-23-04, 11:20 PM I am wondering what are the stats of dragon armor after you have a skin made into armor?

06-24-04, 03:50 AM According to the draconomicon, it is simply masterwork armour, though you pay the normal cost in making it. The army itself retains immunity to enery of the type of dragon. This immunity is not given to the wearer of the armour.

So a red dragon armour would be masterwork armour that itself is immune to fire.

... and um
... well after that acid strike you're a puddle of flesh.
... but for the rest of you, that suit of black dragon armor is good to go!
... it needs some new buckles, but the armor pieces are good as new.

not to my knowledge ... rules-wise, it's straight up MW armor (natural though).

there's lots of house/3rd party rules out there that make the armor a bit nicer. (I'm sure if you ask for some house rules you'll get a lot, ... if I was at my home computer I'd put mine up)

... I think there's a WotC/FR product that lets you upgrade your armor as well, but that's basically enchanting it ...

basic dragon armor just looks cool so far.

Yup, that's what it says, page 116.
It even says that most people just wear the armour because it looks good :D

great stuff, especially seeing as their abilities are not magical and not hindered by stuff like dead magic zones. Now if only I could find a crafter that has that feat.

But also it is an incredibly funny see to watch a mighty warrior get annihilated by a breath weapon but without a scratch on his armour.

I have actually seen that...the funny part is that the red dragon in question sold the party a suit of armor for an incredible price, after proving that it was completely immune to fire.
