I have a question regarding the dragon's attack modifier.

I'll take the great wyrm red dragon as an example:

Base attack: +40
Attack: +49
Size modifier: -8
Strength modifier: +12

Where does the +5 come from?

Shouldn't it be: bab+str-size= 40+12-8= 44? and not 49?

05-27-04, 09:55 AM Err, I don't know where you got +12 modifier for a Str 45. The Str modifier is +17.

So...

40 (base) + 17 (Str) - 8 = 49
