02-02-07, 07:40 PM So I'm trying clarify how many melee attacks a mature white dragon can get off as a full-round action: one bite, two claws, two wing bashes, and a slap with the tail? Seems like an awful lot, but then maybe that's why they're dangerous.

Depending on how RAW you are, if the dragon has Hover, it can, as a full-attack action:
Bite, Claw, Claw, Claw, Claw, Wing-slap, Wing-slap, Tail-slap

Where do you get the extra two claw attacks from?

i didnt't think they got wing attacks when hovering

By RAW, they do.

The draconomicon is contradictory in several locations with regard to the Hover feat. By the Draconomicon, they can't full attack while hovering. It also says that it takes no further action, allowing them to take full round actions. So...it contradicts itself. Core-rules, which in my opinion trump splatbooks, allow it to full attack with all attack forms while hovering.
