Paragraphs and paragraphs on how to save vs its breath, silence on how to hit with it. Even in the Dragonomicon.

08-11-05, 12:08 PM It's an auto-hit. You choose which squares are affected by the breath (being either a cone or line), everyone in those squares then rolls a saving throw to reduce the damage they take.

It's the same principle as a fireball or a lightning bolt.
