I was looking in the Draconomicon at the section about prestige classes for dragons, and I noticed that some--if not all--require the dragon to be epic, but yet they still list BABs and base saves. Let's take the Bloodscaled Fury for instance: It has a BAB requirement of +22. Only a creature/character of at least 22 HD is going to meet that requirement. Since it does list BABs and saves, do I assume that those values are used instead of what the epic rules say? And if so: (A) does this apply to other dragon types outside of true dragons? How would it work with a half-dragon that qualifies for the PrC? And: (B) Are these PrCs the only exceptions to this rule [edit] when applied to dragons? Sledged |
