Is this dragon armor fairly represented just by their high natural AC? Some of my friends and I almost feel as if dragon DR should be weak against Adamantite. Personally, I think I am going to vary it by dragon to switch things up on my players. I just want to know what everyone else's opinion on the matter is. ~Evil DM |

I think the reason for the low DR is really some sort of way of showing that the scales are really magically tough, more naturally tough, so tough infact that no normal weapon can penetrate. I dont think just sticking on a type of metal will solve it though. I dont know about you, but I see no reason for a dragon to have a particular weakness against a certain type of metal. It could work for your campaign though if that is included. I like the idea of variation though, it will help to emphasise differences between colours and make the PCs have to think more. |

| primemover00312-23-03, 10:14 PM | Do you realize DR is supressed in an anti-Magic field? |
| Boondoggle12-24-03, 05:03 AM | Weapons bouncing off a dragons hide is represented by the dragon's high natural armor, not their DR. DR means the creature still got hit & damaged, but the attack isn't special enough to have any lasting effect. |

| wdarkk12-24-03, 03:01 PM | It would make sense if it weren't for the fact that a lvl 1 peasant can still hit it for damage no matter how much natural armor it has 5% of the time. But that's an entirely different issue. |
