I could easily see a weapon, for instance, composed of the teeth of various dragons, doing extra damage of each energy type.. but a +5 to damage (And that's not counting non-standard damage form possibilities) for 1500 GP... is just not reasonable... also... what would the logic be behind spiked armor with this property? A dragon fang dragon armor, perhaps? And would dragone fang arrows be just as expensive? ..And what the bloody is the weight supposed to mean... a dragon fang pixie rapier better not weight that much.. |

"A single tooth or claw from a dragon can be crafted into a light weapon of the same size catagory as the dragon, a one handed weapon of one size catagory smaller, or a two-handed weapon of two size catagories smaler." You couldnt have a longsword blade carved from multiple teeth. The closest you could get would be a two bladed sword but even then each blade would only do plus 1. |

So in my opinion, yes you can. Originally posted by Incenjucar And would dragone fang arrows be just as expensive? I believe they would be the same price a a single masterworked arrow, 8 gold. I'll have to check the book and come back later. |

It would be rather nice if you could make an item that combined several dragon fangs, or a swarm of dragon fang arrows, or 'dragon fang dust', even. There's a huge range of possibilities, they really needed to flesh it out better. And, with that weight thing... it makes no sense. Heh. |
| ssvegeta55502-10-04, 06:33 PM | That weight thing is weird. If you ask me it's pointless. I'm not sure if it's the weight of the fang or the weapon. I would just ignore that and just use the weight of the weapon instead. Hope that helps. |

Personally, I'd just use the fang as an add-on to a weapon (Say, built in to the hilt, or melded in to the blade itself -- there's only so many sword-sized teeth to carve a weapon out of, after all). Things like "Bracers of the Dragon's Claws" or something, I could see, where you could apply the damage to your natural attacks... a lance or trident of fangs, where the pointy parts are a collection of fangs, with something akin to the squared 'advancement' of plusses to cover their cost... it would cost, say, damage plus squared times three hundred... up to the five different damage types... Also, one could easily envision special dragon fang weapons made based on the other kinds of breath weapons... sleep... poison... energy drain... withering... rusting.... |
