| RavinRay01-11-07, 07:21 PM | AFAIK all winged true dragons can naturally fly. The few true dragons that fly without wings include the lung dragons (sans li lung which has wings, and lung wang and yu lung which are swimmers), the yellow dragon, and apparently the orange dragon (it is depicted without wings but its write-up doesn't say anything about flying being an (Su) ability). A few wingless lesser dragons, notably the linnorms, can fly supernaturally. |
| Tetujin01-11-07, 07:26 PM | But never at a certain fly speed? I thought at 120ft or something fly speeds switched from Ex to Su. |
| RavinRay01-11-07, 08:45 PM | Nope, it is a physical ability at any speed. The Draconomicon explains thus, because of their tremendous vitality, powerful wings, and structurally solid bones, they are able to fly at such speeds (and epic dragons are the fastest flyers at 350 ft.) just by flapping. |
