| ApFrot01-12-04, 11:05 PM | I see a brief metion of dragon control orbs or something like that in the book but i am unable to find where the stats and such are printed for these items. What book can i find them in? |
| Anduin_Lothar.01-13-04, 02:20 AM | You DID read about the dragon orbs, but NOT in the draconomicron. You can find the orbs and the rules in the DMs guide, specifically the major artifacts section. Guess thats all ya need. |

| cowdragon01-14-04, 03:20 PM | dragon orbs=BAAAAAAD juju :( Sorry, couldn't help it. I love dragon orbs but hate to introduce them to my players. I had a character with one back in 2E. I made a volcano under a town. Very fun for us PC's, very frusterating for the DM. Now I am the DM. Don't want the headache. The Cowdragon :mage: |
| Wilds01-14-04, 10:27 PM | aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh the carnage, its bad like a gold dragon will kill you out right even if you just used it once and you were LG :heehee |
| BenjCano01-15-04, 09:33 PM | Well, since Raistlin Majere destroyed the last Dragon Orb, knowing about them wouldn't do you any good aside from a bit of random knowledge. |
| Shemeska the Marauder01-15-04, 09:37 PM | The DMG Dragon Orbs are greyhawk/generic DnD artifacts. They have absolutely nothing to do with the Dragonlance artifacts of the same name. |
| Hygric01-15-04, 10:14 PM | Mind you, has anyone actually used the control dragon ability of one of these... DC is not high enough to have a hopping hope in Hades of working... and this is supposed to be an all-powerful artifact? I think that in general 3e treatment of artifacts is somewhat lacking compared to the goodness that was the old 2e book of artifacts. |
