| OracleYori03-27-06, 12:11 AM | Does anyone have a formula for determining the dice for a dragon's breath weapon off of their HD? Also, what's up with those dragons who cap out at 12 dice instead of the seems to be standard 24? This is for an attempt to base everything dragony to a HD count, for either creating personal dragons, or PCing a dragon. Also, does anyone think that PCing a dragon would be a faux pas? (The Sorcerer spellcasting removed) |

(thank you for answering though, and if you strip away the 'free' sorcerer equivalent spell casting, the LA is pretty descent, maybe a +3-4 or so) I'm wondering if anyone knows of a formula that makes the breath weapon strength a function of HD. I know that that is usually a function of age, but PCs always seem to gain strength and skill beyond their years. EDIT: Nevermind. The solution I was looking for is easy enough- just following the 'age category' when the dragon hits the HD level that the age catagory mandates... Similar to the virtual age categories, the HD determines what age you are. (especially when all age categories are 3 HD long) |
