Razzia 06-28-04, 07:58 PM	I'm wondering if its possible for a dragon to surpass the colossal + size rank. The epic level handbook gives us means to advance mortal dragons in hit dice AC etc and even size allowing even a white to gain the colossal + size eventually. However in the draconomicon there is a class called dragon ascendent, at the top leve of this class the dragon becomes immortal. Now mortal dragons reach a size cap because, as all mortal creatures are, they eventually stop growing which means the creature is starting to die. If the dragon attained immortality would it EVER stop growing? After all in some planes there are the bodies of long dead gods so large that entire cities are built on them. Couldnt a dragon ascendant 10-20,000 years old (normally the longest a dragon could live is 4400 years in the case of a gold) pass the colossal + mark and continue to grow in power and size as it climbs the divine ranks of godhood? Zif 06-29-04, 11:00 AM	What makes you think only mortals are limited to these sizes? Even gods can't be bigger than Colossal, or Colossal+ if using epic rules.
obrysii 06-29-04, 11:53 AM	While their size could keep growing...they do not gain any bonuses or penalties due to size. They remain in the "colossal" size, despite in increase in physical size.
