| Fayle09-07-05, 11:17 PM | I am creating a dragon from the ground up for my campaign and I was wondering if anyone knew what a dragon's max skill rank per HD was (or if it's done by age category). In the MM under "skills" it reads as follows: All dragons have skill points equal to (6 + Int modifier, minimum 1) x (Hit Dice +3). After that it goes on to what they usually take the most ranks in. However, even though I know how many total skill points I have I do not know what the max ranks per HD (or age category) are. Perhaps I'm reading this wrong, or perhaps it's just not said. Could I just take the dragon's total number of skill points and divide it by his HD? That seems kind of weird but I don't really know how to go about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I guess just making up an ancient dragon and trying to figure out the skill points would be kinda annoying. if you're interested I made a word file with all the dragon skill point progressions (MM, OA, Psi, MoF, and DL ones ...) it just gives the HD, int score, cha score, skill points (not-retroactive), caster level and total number of feats. you can just post a yes, please here or PM me ... (you'll have to wait until sunday before I can email it) |
