dragon wars [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-01-04, 06:09 AM I was wandering if there was an existing campaign where different dragons battle like chromatic versus metallic and your pc's are stuck inthe middle where after certain levels they break up and go to ont of the prestige classes. either talon or platinum knight. thank you for reading.

p.s. the dragon stats for something like this would be a pain for the dm to organize.:invasion: :devil: :banghead:

08-01-04, 06:03 PM The Dragonlance campaign setting has such a theme, although there is material specific to it. In place of the Platinum Knights and Talons of Takhisis, you'd have the Knights of Solamnia and the Knights of Takhisis (pre-Fifth Age) or Knights of Neraka (Fifth Age), respectively. Wizards publishes the Dragonlance Campaign Setting (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/dlacc/869900000), and Sovereign Press publishes Age of Mortals (http://www.dragonlance.com/d20/product.asp?id=SVP-4001) via Dragonlance.com.

08-01-04, 09:00 PM Though I could see the Platinum Knight being elite warriors of Paladine. The Knights of Solamnia where never truly devotes of his that worked under his divine direction, and I'm sure you could adapt Talon of Tiamat for Talon of Takhisis and have them as special Knights above her own Dark Knights. Besides "Talon Leader" is the name of a squad leader in the Knight of Neraka/Takhisis so it wouldn't be a stretch to patch on Talon of Takhisis over an existing level, Knight of the Lily seems best since you can meet the prerequisites at 4th level, 5th level Knight of Lily, and Talon of Takhisis afterwords...

08-04-04, 02:36 AM If there's going to be a major dragon war campaign, then the first place I'd want to be is the other side of the planet if posible. I'd expect a lot of devastation and carnage wherever dozens (let alone hundreds, or maybe thousands) of dragons decide to gather and do nothing but fight.

08-07-04, 04:50 AM I was wandering because our dm seems to do the adventures off the site alot and not do homebrew or even original ideas and we sithch between 2 dm from game to game therefor putting different ideas into one area and not having a real idea as to whats going on. I was asking because dragons kick *** and the other players seem to like dragons for the most part(I myself play a half dragon) I was hoping we could do something like this when we reached epic level and that way the dm could plan while also being able to do the computer print out adventures in the meantime.
