This was a hard thread to place.

What are the best forms to WS into with Dragon Wild Shape? I'm referring to the Draconomicon feat that lets you change into a Small or Medium dragon and use its Ex and Su qualities.

I don't have the book with me, but hasn't the Faery dragon some nice abilities?

If not there is always the wyrmling pyroclastic dragon for its instant death breath weapon.

My favorites were Silver Dragon (MM), Amethyst Dragon (MMII), and Shadow Dragon (Draconomicon).

Silver dragon gives you up to a 6d8 cone breath weapon and immunity to both cold and acid; throw in an Energy Immunity against fire (6th level druid spell, Draconomicon), and you're doing fairly well.

Amethyst Dragon gives you burrow and swim speeds, a 6d8 line of force breath weapon, fire resistence, and the ability to travel between the inner and material planes.

Shadow Dragons get immunity to energy drain and death effects, and +19 natural armor, as well as total concealment in all but normal daylight, DR 5/magic, and limited SR.

Ethereal Dragons (Draconomicon) are also pretty decent, granting ethereal vision, and an 8d6 cone of force for a breath weapon.

Shadow dragon. Negative level breath weapon? Aw yeah. Unless you're going up against a single opponent; then I'd say fang. Con damage gets really mean really fast.
