gradea 02-21-04, 05:55 PM	ive always had a problem with the half dragon templates. the fixed breath weapon damage and DC, and the lack of other dragon abilities. so i was thinking of a template that granted SR, frightful presence, and a breath weapon that depends on your HD. the problem- just how DOES the breath weapon grow? 1/2HD? same as dragon with = HD (round down)? the rest im sure i can do on my own, but that part is more difficult
darkkender 02-22-04, 08:07 PM	before you do that check out unearthed arcana for the 1/2-dragon paragon in 3 levels you get an advanced breath weapon that can be used 3/times a day and you can make use of your breath every 1d4 rounds making you elgible for metabreath feats, not to mention other cool bonus for your half dragon add that to the ability to buy of your LA in there and you effectively replace your level adjustment levels with half dragon paragon and wow. the only drawback to the last part is paragon levels count as class levels so effect your epic level progression and such but if you take paragon levels after hitting 20th lvl anyways then it don't matter.
