Dragons and their secondary breath weapons [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-08-05, 07:17 PM I was having a conversation with someone online when an issue came up.

Are dragons, such as Pyroclastic dragons, immune to their secondary breath weapons?

My stance: Since the dragon entry does not say a pyroclastic dragon is immune to disinigration, they are not immune to said attack.

His stance: Since the dragon can use the breath weapon, it is therefore immune to the effect.

Which is correct?

05-08-05, 07:50 PM I guess I would go with something along the lines that their are immune to other Pyro dragons breath weapons but not the disinigrate effect but I guess it comes down to the individual call.
I would say by the RAW no they have zero immunity to the effect.

That only makes sense. I mean, if you're a Pyroclastic Dragon, what if you accidentally hit your foot or your tail or something with your own breath weapon. How embarassing that would be if the other dragons found out.
