Magitek 05-06-06, 09:58 PM	Can dragons use their hands to use wands? From the pictures, it looks like their hands aren't good for holding stuff, but is it possible to hold a wand between the claws and use it? What about their mouths? I need to know how much manipulation they have available to them, so I can decide which magic items to get. Thanks to all who help.
runestar 05-06-06, 11:05 PM	There's a spell somewhere in the wyrms of the north article in the FR section of the wotc site which a dragon developed - it allowed him to affix wands to the tips of his wings and activate them mentally... :eek: You have your fair share of digging to do if you want to find this spell - there are a ton of dragons to dredge through... :cool:
strumbleduck 05-06-06, 11:38 PM	From the Draconomicon (pg. 6): Although a dragon's front feet are not truly prehensile, a dragon can grasp objects with its front feet, provided they are not too small. This grip is not precise enough for tool use, writing, or wielding a weapon, but a dragon can hold and carry objects. A dragon is also capable of wielding magical devices, such as wands, and can complete somatic components required for the spells it can cast.
