Somehow I belive they are quite rare, but I dont seem to find this information anywhere.. :D

03-01-04, 03:01 PM There is no information in 3.X about how rare monsters are. It depends alone on how rare the Dm wants them.

But for at least a little bit of rules about how common dragons are visit the Dragons are rare? (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=136860) threat in the Draconomicon forum.
