icewendigo 01-06-04, 08:22 AM	I can get that dragons have a high Fortitude save, and even that they have a high Will save, ok, but what's with the incredible REF saves??? How can a huge dragon be so amazingly good at dodging something? I think their REF save should be lowered by half (at least), which would still be pretty darn good for their size. (they already have magic resistance, no need to explain the save with their resistant nature)
Derren S. 01-06-04, 08:24 AM	Their large bodies are are already taken account with their never increasing DEx score. The base save represents the knowledge, practice and experience you have evading attacks, and dragons have a lot of these.

Gray Eminence 01-06-04, 09:42 AM	Do not forget, that Dragons are inherently magical creatures. Everything a dragon does has something to do with magic. Their reflexes are also magically enhanced (not via a spell, but by the very fact that they are dragons, and magic flows in a draconic vein much like blood does). Magic does not simply manifest in the SR, but also in it's saves.
FLKD19 01-09-04, 01:58 PM	Reflex saves are not how good you are at dodging but how quickly you can react. As said before, their low dex already takes into account their body size. And for a creature of their size, dragons are surprisingly adept. The dracomicon describes them as being surprisingly catlike.
