Any opinion/feedback is greatly appreciated!
How do you feel dragons should be portrayed in a campaign using the Asgardian Pantheon?

I'm thinking they should be really powerful w/ 15-20 HD minimum.

I want any and all dragon encounters to be important and deadly for PCs. Does anyone feel this is out of place in this style of campaign?

thanx in advance!

Most of them have lower intelligence, as I recall. More like animals.

I like the idea of designing low INT yet still challenging BBEG's.

Heres a few links that should help. Generic Norse dragons mostly seemed to be Lindworms. Powerful ones seemed to be unique entities.

Thanx bhu! After looking over those links I realize dragons in germanic culture were truly beasts of legendary proportions.
I think I'll make the majority of them 25-30 HD monstrosities.
That brings up a new question to add to the first. Should these be simply advanced dragons w/ low INT or would it be better to add templates/class levels (such as the fiendish template or maybe the prestige classes out of the draconomicon) ?

Well...most dragons were basically just big cattle munching dinosaurs who occasionally had poison or ate corpses. Only the Dragons that had a name were really hugely powerful. And considering how low magic a Norse setting would be the standard dragons would be powerful enough to represent most of them except Jormundgandr.

More than likely, the named dragons will be those that I focus on.
While lesser dragons existed in the myths, they won't be encountered alot until mid-levels in the campaign.
