Hi all,

I am after some help on what happens to a Dragons (Silver, Gold, Bronze etc) stats when it uses its inherant polymorph ability.

If for example an standard adult Silver dragon which is huge size changes to human form (medium size) what part of the dragons stats would I have to adjust if it was to enter combat?

I assume it would loose all its natural attacks etc not being part of a humanoid form but do you have to adjust strength down since its now medium size and dex up, do the HP change?!?? I am at a bit of a loss on how to do this.

Alternate form (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialAbilities.htm#alternateForm)

You lose natural weapons, NA and movement of your dragon form, while gaining those of your human form.

You retain any SLAs/Su abilities of your dragon form except breath weapons

You gain the physical stats of your new form (which is typically 10 for str/dex/con), but your hp stays the same regardless of your con change. Adjust your saves/skills etc accordingly to reflect your new stats.

You retain your mental stats.

You retain your spellcasting, but your new form must be capable of casting spells.

The rest is self explanatory.:)

Thanks runestar,

I couldn't find the alternate form thing on the SRD (though I thought I looked.)

That answers all my questions, glad to know it wasn't complicated.
