Hey all, Im playing a Gnome Windrider (prestige class from Masters of the Wild) and my character is starting to get interested in drakes serving as a chosen mount. From looking through the books I have been able to find 2 drake species, and one on this site.
1. Rage Drake from monster manual III
2. Stone Drake from Races of Stone
3. Temporal Drake

Now my question is are there any other species of drakes?
Thanks!

the fell drakes, from the draconomicon and MM2, possibly the elemental dragons/drakes (i'm not sure which) from the draconomicon

The ambush drake is also in MMIII, I think. I think that it can fly, though you might have to get an advanced one for it to be big enough to hold your gnome.

Game well, game often.

I believe Dragon had an article on various types of drakes. I'm not at home so can't get you an issue number at this time (will try later). Some of them were rather interesting from what I remember.

Aardvark is right, there are eight elemental drakes from Draconomicon: air, earth, fire, ice, magma, ooze, smoke, and water. These drakes have the same body plan as the wyvern (and in fact are distantly related to it): wings, hindlegs, no forelegs. That's what I envision as the drake body plan.

There's also a mind drake, a psionic dragon from the Legend of Sardior series in the concluded Mind's Eye column.

What's the alignment of that Prestige Class? If LG or NG it should qualify (with the DM's permission), to use the spiked felldrake from Draconomicon. The dragonnel isn't a drake, but it's still a lesser dragon that can serve as a mount.

Thanks much! I dont think there is a specific requirement to be a windrider in terms of alignment, but my character is NG.
