Duergar immunity to phantasm [Archive] - Wizards Community

The Duergar are immune to phantasm spells. A quick check yields 5 core spells: Dream, Nightmare, Weird, Illusory Script, Phantasmal Killer

Does anyone play with such a limited immunity, or do most people just modify it to be all illusion? (Maybe figments, glamers and phantasm?)

It seems cooler to have the duergar be able to ignore most illusions, and to see each other when invisible (glamer).

I leave it as phantasms alone, I see no need to increase the power of the ability.

Yes, those seem to be the rules as written. I guess I was confused because of some tactics in "Forge of Fury". More to the point, I think Richard Baker was confused about the rules as written.

Perhaps it was a more powerful ability in 3.0.
